E-OS: "No results were returned" when Searching for a Keyword in Global Search (Doc ID 3051124.1)

Symptoms

Getting message "No results were returned" when searching for a keyword in Global Search.

The issue was reproducible in the customer site with the following steps:
1. Install OpenSearch and setup the Search Instance, with the search server behind a Load Balancer that terminates SSL. Make sure that, in the Search Instance page, Ping, Test Login, Proxy Login and Call Back Properties validation are all successful.
2. In the Home Page, enter a keyword to be searched in the Global Search field. Click on the prompt lookup button ('magnifying glass' icon, right next to the Global Search field).
3. Observe the error message in the Search Results page.

No results were returned. Refine your search by entering a different keyword.
