Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

New GL Accounts were added to a new Tree KK_ACCOUNT_TREE_2025 tree which was used in Budget Definition.  When creating a journal, all lines resulted to a warning/error message --  'No Budget Exists'.
Looking at Budget Overview, it has been confirmed that funds were available in all KK Accounts.

Error/s:

'No Budget Exists'.

Steps to replicate:

1.  Add a new Tree with new GL Accounts added. (Tree Manager > Tree Manager)
2.  Define the Budget Definition to reference the new Tree.  (Commitment Control > Define Control Budgets > Budget Definition)
2.  Post Budget for the Accounts in this Tree.  (Commitment Control > Budget Journals > Enter Budget Journals)
3.  Create a Journal.  (General Ledger > Journals > Journal Entry > Create/Update Journal Entries)
4.  Run online Edit Journal.
