Symptoms
After Upgrading to HCM PUM Image 45 with Tools 8.60.04, it was noticed that the TL_ABS_GENPT process invoked by the GP_PAYE job has been running slowly for a week.
When the TL_TIMEADMIN process is ran from "Request Time Administration" component with ECD set back to 7/2 for all employees, the process completed within 13 minutes for a little over 2000 employees.
It was noticed that only TL_ABS_GENPT is taking extra time to process, and the process time has been getting longer and longer by day.
Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll and run the GP_PAYE job hourly to push absence data into Payable Time promptly.
2. Notice that the TL_ABS_GENPT process invoked by the GP_PAYE job has been getting longer and longer by day.
