On the Maintain Application component, after clicking the 'INAS' button to invoke the calculation for Institutional Methodology (IM) via the IM Cloud, the normal message beginning with 'By Invoking INAS' is displayed, but after clicking 'OK' nothing further happens to calculate the EFC. If the same student's .json is then processed in the IM Connectivity Tester, then an error occurs, with the following displayed as part of the message:

and

Class SFA_NAC_UTIL.INASUtil was not found. (180,74).

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > Institutional Application Data > Maintain Application 2024-2025 for any student.
  2. Click 'INAS' button to calculate based on the available data.
  3. Note the initial informational message displayed as normal, but then the EFC does not calculate.
  4. Navigate to Financial Aid > Institutional Application Data > IM Test Harness for the same student.
  5. Click 'Generate Json File' button then click the 'Json File' link in the Input JSON section to download the file.
  6. Navigate to Financial Aid > Institutional Application Data > IM Connectivity Tester.
  7. Open the file downloaded in step 5, copy the entire contents, and paste into the 'Input JSON' box on the Tester page.
  8. Click 'Test Connection' and note the error that results.
