What Students Will be Included on the E-mail Distribution When Using Select All, then Notify on the Class Roster or Grade Roster? (Doc ID 3057097.1)

Goal

On the classic Faculty Center, Class Roster, the Enrollment Status field is set to Enrolled. When clicking Select All, students who have withdrawn from the class are included. The instructor must uncheck the Notify box that is populated for the withdrawn students prior to clicking Notify to exclude them from the email. Is this working as expected or is there a way to exclude them by default without manually unchecking the students?
