Aid Year 2025-2026 IM NCP Error 'Invalid Property Name: NCP Prof Ext Request for 2026' for 'ParentAdditionalIncomeAllowance' and/or 'ParentAdditionalAssetAllowance' (Doc ID 3058196.1)

Symptoms

On the Maintain Application 2025-2026 component, when invoking the Institutional Methodology calculation for the non-custodial parent (IM NCP), the following error occurs:

The error has been observed only in the specific condition where the IM extension record is populated with a value specified in either the Parent Income Allowance *or* Parent Asset Allowance field(s). If only the asset field is populated, the first line of the error message will reference ''ParentAdditionalAssetAllowance' instead of 'ParentAdditionalIncomeAllowance'.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > Institutional Application Data > Maintain Application 2025-2026 for a record with the HHB application loaded.
  2. On the Non-Custodial Parent Data tab, click IM NCP link and link for institutional NCP Extension 2, and enter a value in the Parent Income Allowance field.
  3. Click back out to the main tab, click 'INAS NCP' and note the error displayed.
