Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is an issue in the search field when searching with a last name with space for the fields owner, special approver, coordinator, and administrator

The problem occurs when adding an owner, special approver, coordinator, or administrator to the Maintain Classes/Programs when searching via the 'last name' field.
When the last name consists of two words, so with space included, the search field ‘Last name’ does not work when searching with the space in between. And it does work if it is written in 1 word.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Enterprise Learning > Catalog > Maintain Classes
2. Open a class and do a search just using the last name with no space = works but is not correct.
The last name used has 3 letters “DAS”, and the search results return a Last name that has “DAS” it the name, but not the correct person.

Searching with the correct space between, does not work: “DA S” is the keyword.
