E-IB: Loading the Gateway Connectors in a Copy of Production on PeopleTools 8.60+ Returns an "XML parser error ParseXMLString Fatal Error" Error (Doc ID 3058556.1)

Symptoms

When loading the Integration Broker (IB) Gateway (GW) connectors in a copy of production (COP) database, the following error is seen on the PIA page, and in the application server log (APPSRV_MMDD.LOG):

 Steps to replicate:

  1. Set up IB.
  2. Update the IB Gateway URL with the format: http(s)://<Web_Server_Host>:<Port>/psp/<SITENAME>.
  3. Press the Load Connectors button.
  4. Open the App Server Log and observe the errors above.
