E-BIP/XMLP: Huge Stderr File Is Generated With "WARNING: oracle.xdo.template.rtf.xpath2.ParseException: Encountered "<EOF>"" (Doc ID 3059267.1)

Symptoms

Huge Stderr file is getting generated in application server logs time to time. It shows following warning -

WARNING: oracle.xdo.template.rtf.xpath2.ParseException: Encountered "<EOF>" at line 0, column 0.
Was expecting one of:
<list of characters>
at oracle.xdo.template.rtf.xpath2.XPathParser.generateParseException(XPathParser.java:3394)

Issue can be replicated with below steps:

1. Keep running daily BIP processes.
2. Which BIP report is generating warnings is not known.
3. Debug logs and trace are not enabled.
