EPC: Project Analytics Dashboards (Project Cost Analytics, Project Billing Analytics, Project Revenue Analytics, Year Over Year Project Analytics) Are Not Displaying the Content When Permission Level Security Is Implemented at BU Level and Document Level (Doc ID 3059409.1)

Symptoms

Project Analytics Dashboards (Project Cost AnalyticsProject Billing Analytics,  Project Revenue Analytics, Year Over Year Project Analytics) are not displaying the content when Permission Level security is implemented at BU level and document level security is implemented at search definition level for search definition - EP_PC_PROJ_RES_KIB

Replication Steps:

  1. Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security >Activate Row-level Security. Permission level Security radio button is selected with Business Unit check box checked.
  2. Run the process - Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Apply Security Setups.
  3. Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Unit by Permission List. Set up security for BU by permission list.
  4. PeopleTools > Search Framework > Designer > Define Search Definitions - EP_PC_PROJ_RES_KIB - has Document Level Security selected under the Security tab.
  5. Assuming that there are transactions that are eligible to be displayed in the 4 Project analytics dashboard.
  6. Go To Home > Project Management. Review the tiles for the dashboards - Project Cost AnalyticsProject Billing Analytics,  Project Revenue Analytics, Year Over Year Project Analytics) and notice that no data is displayed for the tiles.
