Symptoms
While creating a PO, we entered invalid chartfields, upon saving the PO, we get a warning message about invalid chartfield. We click ok then save the PO. We now create a new PO by copying this PO with invalid chartfield. Upon saving the PO we do not get a warning that there are invalid chartfield.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

3. Click on the Distribution icon.
4. Enter the Account from the Combo Edit setup.
5. Enter an invalid Dept.
6. Click OK.
7. Click on the Return to Main Page link.
8. Save the PO.
9. Get the warning about invalid chartfields. This is correct.
10. Click OK.
11. PO is saved. Note the PO number.
12. Now add a new PO. (Purchasing-->Purchase Orders-->Add/Update POs)
13. Copy From select Purchase Order.
14. Enter the PO number we created on the above step and click Search.
15. Select the PO and click OK.
16. PO is now copied.
17. Without making any changes, click Save.
18. The PO was saved without giving a warning about the invalid chartfield. This is the reported issue.
