EAP: Page And Field Configurator Does Not Track Changes Made Using Component Interface (Doc ID 3060126.1)

Page and Field Configurator does not track changes made using Component Interface through ExcelToCI

STEPS:

1. Navigate to Enterprise Components > Page and Field Configuration > Page and Field Configurator
2. Click on 'Add a New Value', and select Component Name as VCHR_EXPRESS, Market as Global and Configuration Type as Change Tracking
3. Click on 'Select Fields', select Invoice Date (VOUCHER.INVOICE_DT) from the 03- Related Documents Primary page
4. Under the Related Content Access, add ADMINISTRATOR roles
5. Click on 'Apply Configuration' and 'Activate Related Content' and Save the component
5. Navigate to Accounts Payable > Vouchers > Add/Update > Regular Entry - click on search, and make a change to Invoice Data for any of the selected voucher, and notice that track changes are saved to respective tables PS_EOCC_TRK_HDR3, PS_EOCC_TRK_DTL3 and PS_EOCC_TRK_SEQ3.
6. Now try the same using the ExcelToCI template that uses VCHR_EXPRESS_CI, and notice that track changes are NOT getting saved to respective tables PS_EOCC_TRK_HDR3, PS_EOCC_TRK_DTL3 and PS_EOCC_TRK_SEQ3.
