Symptoms
When Data Privacy for Query Masking is turned on and queries use a left outer join then they fail to run from Query Manager, throwing the below error message:
Replication Steps
-------------------
1. Enable Query Masking from the navigation: Enterprise Component >> Data Privacy Framework >> Query Masking
2. Run full sync with no exclusions.
3. Go to Reporting Tools -> Query -> Query Manager, create a query using records DEPT_TBL and PERSONAL_DATA.
a. Select DEPT_TBL table, select several fields in DEPT_TBL table.
b. Under Query tab, click PERSONAL_DATA link beside MANAGER_CD field.
c. Choose outer join.
d. Select some fields in PERSONAL_DATA table.
4. Run the query.
