E-PPR / E-PIA: Configurable Search Setup Causes Loss of Criteria Fields on Field Prompt Lookups (Doc ID 3061001.1)

Symptoms

Note: The User Profile component is referenced in this document as an example of the issue. The very same issue is observed in other Components as well, where Configurable Search is setup.

Prompt Lookup dialogs for 'UserID' fields ('Alternate User ID', 'Supervising User ID', or 'Reassign Work To') does not display the 'search area', which would allow to filter results to be selected for the field, when Configurable Search is enabled for the component being accessed.

The issue is reproducible with the following steps:
1. Enable Configurable Search for User Profiles component, in PeopleTools > Utilities > Manage Configurable Search.
2. Set the Default Search Presentation to Advanced.
3. Access the User Profile component in PeopleTools > Security > User Profiles > User Profiles. Open any user profile.
4. Go to the Workflow tab.
5. Click on the prompt lookup icon (magnifying glass) for the 'Alternate User ID' field.
    Observe that there's no search area to further filter the results. The Search criteria is missing.
   
The same behavior is observed on fields 'Alternate User ID', 'Supervising User ID', or 'Reassign Work To'..
