Symptoms
On : 8.61 version, PIA Core Technology - Type ahead is not working properly for search prompt field with comma character:
Type ahead is not working properly for search prompt field with comma character. It is displaying :::: character instead of comma character resulting in the user is not being able to search by that search field.
Occurs across multiple pages:
1. Supplier Page ( Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update)
2. Purchasing > Procurement Cards >Reconcile > Reconcile PCard Statement
3. Account Payables > Vouchers > Regular Voucher Entry
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Navigate to Supplier Page ( Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update)
2) In the Find an existing value , Search any Supplier Name with Comma in between the name and you can see extra characters:::: displayed
