Value in the Subject Area Disappears After Entering the Organization on the Instructor/Advisor Component After Applying the Fix for Bug 33386615 (Doc ID 3062184.1)

Symptoms

The Instructor / Advisor page requires an Academic Organization to be entered.   Without an Academic Organization, the page will not save.  After populating the Academic Organization and saving the page, the subject area entered on the page disappears.

The expectation is the data entered will be retained upon saving the page.

Replication Steps:

  1. Login to application. Navigate to Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Instructor/Advisor > Instructor/Advisor Table;
  2. Search for Instructor and go to Approved Courses tab;
  3. Populate the Subject Area field;
  4. Populate the Acad Org field and click Save;
  5. Note the Subject area vanishes upon save.

Changes

 The fix for Bug 33386615 - STUDENT ADVISOR COMPONENT SUBJECT AREA STAYS EMPTY was applied.
