E-DPK: DPK Deployment on Linux Environments Fails at Step "Setting up System Settings" (Doc ID 3062784.1)

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.57 and later
Generic Linux

Symptoms

This issue may apply to deployments of PeopleSoft Update Images (PUM) or PeopleTools DPKs when deploying with or without PT-INFRA DPKs. When attempting to deploy the DPKs, the following error occurs: -

Error as seen during the deployment:

Setting up System Settings:        [FAILED]

Error as seen for psft_dpk_setup.log file:

Removing cache files in /var/lib/sss/db should fix the issue, but note that removing cache files will also remove all of your cached credentials.
Could not open available domains
<DATE/TIME> /Stage[main]/Pt_profile::Pt_system::Users/User[psadm1]/password (err): change from [redacted] to [redacted] failed: chpasswd said [sss_cache] [sysdb_domain_cache_connect] (0x0010): DB version too old [0.23], expected [0.24] for domain implicit_files!
Higher version of database is expected!
In order to upgrade the database, you must run SSSD

Steps to reproduce the issue:
--------------------------------
1. Download the Linux related PUM/PT/PT-INFRA DPKs and place it in DPK_INSTALL.
2. Initiate the deployment from Path <DPK_INSTALL>/setup.
3. See the error at step "Setting up System Settings".
