Symptoms

SCM Integrations: Purchasing receiving ship to location is not using latest effective dated.

After adding a new effective dated row to the ship to location and changing the Receiving BU from 'US001' to 'US003' for ship to location 'US009', then creating a transaction for SCM Integrations > Create Transaction > Purchasing Receiving, and selecting the ship to location = 'US009', the Receiving BU remains at 'US001', when it should be using 'US003'.

Note: In the Replication Steps, User Details / Company Names / Addresses / Emails / Telephone Numbers / Etc. are fictitious (based upon made-up data used in the Oracle DEMO Environments), any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to:Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related >Procurement Options > Purchasing > Ship To Locations
    • Select SETID = 'SHARE' and Ship To Location 'US009'
  2. Add new effected dated row. Change Receiving Business Unit from 'US001' to 'US003' and save
  3. Go to SCM Integrations > Create Transactions > Receiving > Purchasing Receiving
  4. Add Transaction code 0104 SETID = 'SHARE' ShipTo = 'US009'
  5. The receiving BU should be 'US003' and Not 'US001'
