Accessibility: User Gets Stuck in a Loop and not Able to Easily Search the Student in Advisor Center (Doc ID 3064060.1)

Symptoms

When searching for a student, the user gets stuck in a loop, not able to easily launch the student in the advisor center. The only way to exit the loop is to select the search button before the Student ID field. When using VoiceOver, the user can't use Shift + Tab to this search button, making it difficult for a screen reader to reach it.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > Selfservice > Advisor Center > My Advisees.
  2. Search the student, the user gets stuck in a loop, not able to easily launch the student in the advisor center.
  3. Using VoiceOver, the user can't use Shift + Tab to the search button to exist the loop.
