TAM: Error Routing Applicant When Using Update Email Template (Doc ID 3065320.1)

Symptoms

After updating the email template, when an applicant's details are routed for approval, the following error occurs:

Fetching array element 10: index is not in range 1 to 9. (180,252) EONC_NOTIFICATIONS.Notification.OnExecute  Name:ReplaceBindTokens  PCPC:79256  Statement:1337

While fetching the value of an array element, the index was not within the  length of the array.

Steps to reproduce:

Update the Applicant Route Notification to remove one of the delivered email template variables.

  1. Main Menu > PeopleTools > Workflow > Notification > Generic Notification Templates.
  2. Search for HRS_APP_RTE.
  3. Remove any variable from the message text and list of variables.
  4. Save.

Route an applicant:

  1. Log in as a recruiter.
  2. Navigate Recruiting >Search Applicants.
  3. Search for an applicant in "applied" status.
  4. Click the Route button next to their application.
  5. Click Submit button and receive error message above.
