E-CLOUD: Applying PeopleTools Upgrade Through Cloud Manager Failed at Step Reprovision Midtier With Error "Parameter path failed on File" (Doc ID 3068050.1)

Symptoms

The reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log into Cloud Manager 17 and click on 'Environment' tile.

2. Open the environment details and click on 'Upgrade PeopleTools'.

3. See the upgrade activity and notice the error at step Reprovision Midtier in file pt_system.log.


Puppet Error: Parameter path failed on File[COBDIR set to /opt/microfocus/VisualCOBOL/psft/fsupgtst/fsupgtst-lnxmt-1/home/psadm1]: File paths must be fully qualified, not 'COBDIR set to /opt/microfocus/VisualCOBOL/psft/fsupgtst/fsupgtst-lnxmt-1/home/psadm1' (file: /psft/fsupgtst/fsupgtst-lnxmt-1/dpk/puppet/production/modules/pt_profile/manifests/pt_system/users.pp, line: 66)
