E-PN: Invalid Warning after Marking the Notifications as "Dismissed"

Symptoms
After marking notifications as "Dismissed" in "View All Notifications" page, a message box appears to ask if you want to save the changes. Even if you click yes or no, the changes are saved, so the message is invalid.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to “View All Notifications”
2. Select all (or 2 for test) and click on Actions button
3. Click on “Mark as Dismissed”
4. Attempt to return to the home page
5. An invalid warning appears:
Do you want to save your changes?
Click Yes to go back and save, No to discard your changes
Yes No
6. Regardless of what you choose the behavior is the same (the status is changed)
