System Allows To Copy REQs/POs or Contract Lines With Discontinued Items To The Event Creation Page (Doc ID 3069696.1)

Symptoms

System allows to copy Contract lines, Purchase Order Lines, Requisition lines or existing event lines that have discontinued/inactive item to a new event and able to save and post that event.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to : Sourcing > Create Events > Create Event Details and create a new event.
2. Click on 'Copy From' dropdown.
3. Select 'Contract'/'Purchase Order'/'Requisition'/'Sourcing Event'/'Sourcing Template'.
4. Choose a transaction with discontinued/inactive item on the line to copy from.
5. Enter other mandatory fields on the Event and Save the event.
