Last updated on FEBRUARY 11, 2025

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Cloud Manager - Version 18 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to continue the failure import , it fails.
the following error occurs.

Think-time PeopleCode event (Warning), but a SQL update has occurred in the commit interval.
ECL_CM.EnvironmentImport.OnExecute Name:retryFailedTask PCPC:94216 Statement:1224
Called from:ECL_ENV_DETAILS_FL.GBL.ECL_ENV_IMP_WRK.ECL_ENV_IMPRETRY.FieldChange Statement:1
Think-time PeopleCode events such as messages requiring a user response cannot be executed if a SQL update, insert, or delete has occurred in the commit interval. Examples of PeopleCode that invoke update type of SQL includes Process Scheduler, TriggerBusinessEvent, or MarkWorked. A unit of work cannot contain both think-time events and update type SQL.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Import a problem node to existing environment
2. It fails on some import step, e.g. 'crawl windows MT instance'
3. Then import the same or another problem node again using 'import node' function
4. It fails on some import step too

Note: two failure steps showed in import tab in environment details now

5. Click 'continue' on import tab,
6. Click ok on 'Failed task re-submitted', then it gave the error
