Symptoms

The below solution applies to both Insights (OpenSearch Dashboards) and Kibana. We will use Insights here.

We created a visualization in an Insights dashboard that displays an aggregated numeric fields using “sum” . It is displaying as a scientific exponential number notation when summing to zero.

How can we make it show zero instead?
