Symptoms
The Preferred Name is being recorded in PS_NAMES table under NAME_TYPE as "PRI" after name update from self service.
Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Employee Self Service Fluid homepage > Personal Details Tile > Name
2. Enter the Name change details in order to update the following information:
Enter Preferred First Name and Preferred Last Name (in this case its Preferred first and Preferred last respectively)
3. click on Save button to submit for approval
4. Login as Approver > Navigate to Manager Self Service Fluid Homepage > Approvals Tile : Access the Name change transaction and approve it
5. Run the following SQL Query
select * from PS_NAME WHERE EMPLID = 'ABC' ORDER BY EFFDT DESCR;
