Deferral Contract Ignores the Tree Manager And Default to ITEM_SECURITY Tree Manager. (Doc ID 3071198.1)

Symptoms

When the user attempts to run the deferral contract processing seems to ignore the tree name selected in the deferral contract when it selects the charges. It always defaults to the ITEM_SECURITY tree name. The tree name selected in deferral processing is from the Student Financials Business Unit.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Student Financials > Payment Plans >  Payment Plan > Create Deferral Contract
  2. Create a deferral contract and specify the CHARGE_PRIORITY tree
  3. Navigate to Student Financials >  Payment Plans > Assign Deferral Contracts
  4. Select a student and assign the contract
