Getting "Invalid Value" In The Requester Mass Change Page When Searching For Requester ID In Lower Case (Doc ID 3071742.1)

Symptoms


Getting invalid value message when searching for requester ID in lower case.

Error:
Invalid value -- press the prompt button or hyperlink for a list of valid values
The value entered in the field does not match one of the allowable values. You can see the allowable values by pressing the Prompt button or hyperlink associated with field, which is currently focused.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to :eProcurement > Administrative Tasks > Requester Mass change.
  2. In the Original requester field enter a requester with lower case letters.
  3. Getting the message once tabbing out of the field since system is automatically changing the requester ID to upper case.
