Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Asset Management - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Load into AM (AMIF1000) is not loading/interfacing asset transaction executing process when the Run Control is setup to only use Load Type, or when there is no parameter set at all.
This functionality seems to only work when Interface ID is populated despite not being a required field.
Steps to replicate:
1. For test purpose, import asset transactions using AM Upload Spreadsheet Data:
(Asset Management > Send/Receive Information > Import Data via Spreadsheet > Upload Spreadsheet Data)
Template = RETIRE
Row Count = 2
* Take note of the Interface ID/s.
2. Load into AM (Asset Management > Send/Receive Information > Interface Transactions > Load into AM)
a. Run Control, apart from Request ID, populate only with Load Type = Asset Retirement ---> Does not load Asset successfully, Load Type stuck on Pending status.
b. Run Control, apart from Request ID, no other fields populated ---> Does not load Asset successfully, Load Type stuck on Pending status.
c. Run Control, apart from Request ID, populate Interface ID range ---> Loads Asset successfully, Load Type = Loaded
