Error 'ORA-01752: cannot delete from view without exactly one key-preserved table' Occurs When Attempting to Remove a Student From A Packaging Plan at Mass Packaging View Results by Query or View Results by Plan (Doc ID 3073202.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to remove a student from Financial Aid > Awards > Mass Packaging > View Results by Query or Financial Aid > Awards > Mass Packaging > View Results by Plan, the following error occurs when  attempting to save the page after removing a student. This issue occurs for all any student, and any aid year.

ORA-1752 cannot delete from view without one exactly key preserved table. Failed SQL Stmt:
DELETE FROM PS_FA_BPKG_DTL_VW WHERE INSTITUTION = :1 AND AID_YEAR = :2 AND FA_INST_BPKG_SW = :3 AND PKG_PLAN_ID = ' ' AND EMPLID = :6


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid, Awards,  Mass Packaging,  View Results by Query or Financial Aid > Awards > Mass Packaging > View Results by Plan;
  2. Select a student;
  3. Click Remove;
  4. Click Save;
  5. Note the reported error occurs.



Changes

 This issue occurred after applying PUM 33 and all PRP's (PeopleSoft Release Patchsets) delivered after PUM 33.
