EAM: Physical Inventory Asset Location Not Updating and Still Showing the Old Location. (Doc ID 3075067.1)

Symptoms

When performing Physical Inventory Asset Location update from Physical Inventory tile on Asset tracking Home page, it remains unchanged and still showing the old Location.

Steps to replicate:

1.  Access Asset Tracking Home page and click on Physical Inventory Tile.
2.  Take any PI ID and check for any Scan Location (Here, I took US010). And click on “Done”.
3.  Try to scan an Asset Tag from Different Location. Here, I used Tag# CMP2W1400002 (Which is currently located in Location#US017). Then press “Fetch”.
4.  This says, it got scanned and took the user ID and timestamp but it did not update the Location.
     Location still shows old location (instead of the new scan location).
