Symptoms

In every case when students attempt to submit a credit card payment as the last step in 'make a payment' from student center, the following error occurs:

'We have encountered problems posting your payment. Contact your system administrator.'

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Self Service > Student Center.
  2. Click the 'Make a Payment' link, following the sequence of steps, and click 'Submit' as the last step.
  3. Note the error displayed on the page.
