Symptoms

Purchase Order Budget Check Application Engine (FS_BP) Abended After Upgrade to FSCM PUM 49 and PeopleTools 8.60.13.

When Budget Checking Purchase Order. Getting the error:

File: C:\PT860P13B_2403250500-retail\peopletools\src\psappeng\aedebug.hSQL error. Stmt #: 1851 Error Position: 0 Return: 8601 - [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'EXIST2'.
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Statement(s) could not be prepared. (SQLSTATE 42000) 8180

Process XXXXXX ABENDED at Step FS_BP_SHDR.iSrcTAO.iSrcTAO (SQL) -- RC = 8601 (108,524) 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Go to Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Budget Check Purchase Order. Run FS_BP process.
  2.  Getting abend " Process 10446300 ABENDED at Step FS_BP_SHDR.iSrcTAO.iSrcTAO (SQL) -- RC = 8601 (108,524)"
