E-PTF: PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) Client Unable to Connect to Server (Doc ID 3078116.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.60 version, PeopleTools Test Framework (PTF)

When attempting to login to PT 8.6x.xx PTF Client,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
There was an error when PeopleSoft Test Framework was trying to login.

Message: An error occurred while making the HTTP request to https://servername.xxx/HttpListeningConnector. This could be due to the fact the server certificate is not configured properly with HTTP.SYS in the HTTPS case. This could also be caused by a mismatch of the security binding between the client and the server.

InnerException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.

 


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Attempt to login to PTF client.
