Symptoms
CP2 being deducted before CPP when an employee is turning 70 or if the CPP months are changed on the employee tax data page.
CPP should be taken before CP2 is calculated.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Employee turning 70 years in current year that had CP2 taken.
2. Employee tax data was changed to 11 months when CP2 was already taken - Payroll for North America>Employee Pay Data CAN>Tax Information>Employee Tax Data
3. Create paysheets -- Payroll for North America>Payroll Processing CAN>Create and Load Paysheets>Create Paysheet
4. Run the payroll calculation - Payroll for North America>Payroll Processing CAN>Produce Payroll>Calculate Payroll
5. Verified the results on review paycheque taxes that is not expected - Payroll for North America>Payroll Processing CAN>Produce Payroll>Review Paycheque
