Symptoms
Pay Confirm Error 000064 ( The selected run cannot be confirmed because a prior run has not been confirmed) indicates that there is a prior on-cycle run that has not been confirmed, or there are off cycle checks that are outstanding for this company and pay group on a prior on-cycle pay calendar.
When running the PreConfirm Audit (PAY036.sqr) the equivalent error message is "Prior Unconfirmed Runs".
The error is generated when, on the pay calendar table, EITHER the "payroll confirmation run" flag is NOT checked (PAY_CALENDAR.PAY_CONFIRM_RUN = "N"), OR the "off cycle calcs outstanding" flag is ON (PAY_CALENDAR.PAY_OFF-CYCLE = "Y") for a prior on-cycle pay calendar.
