Last updated on NOVEMBER 29, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This document discusses some common scenarios on how to correct the problem of having the Ledger and journals out of sync?

This situation should not occur naturally but it may occurs sometimes due to the user error,  system bug, environmental issues(ie running out of tablespace, timeouts, power outages, network issues)

Since every integrity issue is unique to the customer and to the environment, It is recommended that you make a copy of the environment and test out any alternatives you identify for resolution and verify what options(as identified below or that you identify) works.

Once you test it out, you can follow the same steps in affected environment.
