Outbound EC Agent ECOUT001 Produces Blank Commonline Loan Data File (Doc ID 608722.1)

Symptoms

When running Outbound EC Agent, ECOUT001, the process produces a blank file, instead of the expected file with the data produced by the previous steps to Process CL4 (or CRC) Outbound Records.

The process itself runs to success, with no errors indicated in the log or output files.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > File Management > Commonline Loans > Outbound EC Agent, and run the process.
  2. Click the link to 'Process Monitor' and note when the process ends in 'Success' status.
  3. Find the data file produced, and note the file is empty.

Changes

The issue is typically observed after an upgrade to Tools or application (PUM), when the functionality was working normally prior to the upgrade.
