- Application Server Domains Hang or Fail on Bootup Running on Windows
After several domains have been booted on a Windows box you may experience a hanging problem or receive errors trying to boot up additional domains. In most cases customers could get 4 domains booted and the 5th would hang or fail with errors..
You may see errors similar to these after starting several domains:
085736.PEOPLESOFT!JSL.3760: JOLT_CAT:1079: ERROR: Error starting minimum number of handlers
122142.PEOPLESOFT!tmboot.1596: 12212002: TUXEDO Version 6.5 32-bit Windows.
122142.PEOPLESOFT!tmboot.1596: tmboot: CMDTUX_CAT:827: ERROR: Fatal error encountered; initiating user error handler.
Message: SQL error. Stmt #: 2 Error Position: 0 Return: 1 - ORA-12154:
TNS:could not resolve service name
CMDTUX_CAT:819: INFO: Process id=3996 Assume started (pipe).
exec PSPRCSRV -sInitiateRequest -- -C psprcs.cfg -CD FSDMO -PS PSNT -A start -S PSPRCSRV :
CMDTUX_CAT:819: INFO: Process id=1068 Assume started (pipe).
