Symptoms

The enrollment total displayed on the Schedule of Classes does not equal the number of enrolled students on the Class Roster or in the STDNT_ENRL table.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Process thousands of self-service and administrative enrollment (add/drop/swap) transactions.
  2. Run queries to compare the ENRL_TOT to the actual count of the students.
  3. Many class sections will have an ENRL_TOT value that is off by 1.
