E-SEC: Not Authorized to Run Process Type 'xxx' and Process 'xxx' (65,8) (Doc ID 611779.1)

Symptoms

This error will come up whenever you try to run a process through the process scheduler that you are not authorized to run. Here is an example.

Customer is trying to execute a Dynamic Role Rule in the following location PeopleTools > Maintain Security > Use > Roles > Dynamic Members. They have setup a query role rule to be executed but when executing the role rule the user gets the following error: You are not authorized to run Process type Application Engine and process DYNROLE_PUBL (65,8)

When you get this error if you hit Explain you get the following message: "You must be specifically authorized to run this process.  Authorization is granted using the Process Definition table and Maintain Security"

Then you get the error: "Failed to Schedule Process. (48,141)"
