Symptoms
This scenario arises when an application engine program errors out in a PeopleCode section (that launches a remotecall usually for a COBOL program to be executed) with an error message like this:
Child program /u01/psft8/bin/PSRUNRMT /u01/psft8/cblbin/PTPECOBL REMOTE (27323) did not complete in allowed time period (300 seconds). Killing process. (2,-1)
At FTDOCAE_LIBR.GenDocSq.GBL.default.1900-01-01.Step01.OnExecute PCPC:911 Statement:4
Process 1613 ABENDED at Step FTDOCAE_LIBR.GenDocSq.Step01 (PeopleCode) -- RC = 8 (108,524)
A developer then restarted the failed process, It the gave us a error (cannot insert duplicate key row) into
'PS _GL_JCOBOL_TMP' .
