E-SQR: General PSMAIL Command Line Usage and Parameters (Doc ID 615653.1)

Symptoms

Some programmers would like to customize SQR to call and utilize PSMAIL from the command line or just create their own shell or batch scripts to send email.  Of course customization issues are beyond the scope of the Global Support Center but see solution below for command line usage of PSMAIL.  SQR can call the operating system (OS) using the SQR "CALL SYSTEM USING" (see SQR PeopleBooks for SQR command usage and syntax) command and perform OS commands like launching a batch file etc..
