Symptoms

Sometimes the Process Scheduler behaves erratically with the following symptoms:

a) 'Database Error Encountered' error messages in the Process Scheduler log file pointing to no specific error, (such as the offending SQL Statement).

b) Multiple rows of a single process are entered into the PSPRCSRQST table regardless if that process is a recurrence or not, (in one scenario there was 13,000 rows of the same process).

c) Process Scheduler comes up without issue, however it is not initiating any processes. Furhtermore, those processes that are in an 'Initiated' or 'Processing' status do not complete.
