Sometimes the tree is corrupted and can't be opened or strange errors are received when trying to save it.  The first suggestion is to run the Tree Audit and manually fix any corruption that is returned.  If nothing is returned and errors are still happening, it is recommended to run the Tree Mover Export and Import process.
