Symptoms
ISSUE 1:
This error occurs when the employee moves from one paygroup to another and each paygroup has its own Earnings Program associated with it.
What happens is this:
1. Employee is paid in paygroup ABC with earnings progarm 123 from January 1-June 30th.
2. Employees transfers to paygroup XYZ with earnings program 2314 effective July 1.
3. Employee has overtime to be paid in the June look back period, but they have transferred to new paygroup.
4. OT is paid with the new Overtime code in the new earnings program (Page input won't allow you to use old code)
5. Calc receives error.
If the earnings defined for the paygroups is not the same across all paygroups, you can get this error.
ISSUE 2:
The changes delivered in Tax Update 03-D to PSPERNTB added EARNINGS_END_DT as a search key in the Array ERNTB-DATA. With multiple periods entered from T&L or other sources (such as retro pay) , this array can exceed the old limit -- causing an error message 000001 to be issued.
Customer who implemented work around for this issue (solution document 699440) is now getting subscript out of range is PSPMFLSA.
ISSUE 3 :
Client received this error on an employee who had a payline to receive over 2 years of retro pay.
