If a new effective date is entered with less SEQ numbers than the previous effective date, paysheet creation still brings in the additional pay from the previous effective date to the paysheet. For example, 1st additional pay effective date of 7/1/2002 with addl SEQ # 1 for 100.00, SEQ # 2 for 300.00. A new effective date row of 8/1/2002 entered with addl SEQ # 1 for 200.00 and SEQ # 2 is deleted from this new effective dated row. When paysheet creation is run for the next pay period, the employee will get the additional pay records brought into the paysheet for SEQ #1 and SEQ #2 even though SEQ #2 is no longer active.
Opened up report id #587635000 for development. Development have reviewed the incident and advise that this is working as designed.
