Goal

If you want to reset back to the ADD row by deleting all future transactions and making the asset look as it did when it was first added, then follow the instructions under heading "How to Reset an Asset to Its Initial 'ADD' Row."

If you want to reset the asset back to the ADD row, but maintain the transactions performed on the asset, then follow the following instructions under heading "Resetting an Asset Like AMSEC101."

As fields that affect depreciation have been added to the PS_BOOK table in release 8.8 forwards, the reset instructions that are attached to this Solution relate to release 7.5 - 8.4SP2. To seek additional assistance for releases after 8.4SP2, please contact GCS support. General Reset instructions have been added for release 8.8 and above for the following resets below: 'Reset back to initial Add row' and 'Resetting a RET row', and 'Sample reset for ADD-ADJ-TRF.'
