Symptoms

Access the WebLogic Server console at http://<webserver>/console (e.g. http://localhost/console). When prompted for a Username and Password, specify the WebLogic system ID and password you supplied during your WebLogic Server installation.

Refer to the Solution section of this document if the following error is returned:

Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

Another scenario-
-----------------------
Users not able to access the PIA application. It generates below error message instead of the signon screen- Error 404--Not Found

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI.

No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

The below error message is seen in pia_stderr.log file, which indicates that webserver domain has gotten corrupted or some files are missing in webserver domain directory, "tidyconfig.txt" file is not available under specified location.

/apps/psoft/hrms9/webserv/HRSS02/applications/peoplesoft/PORTAL/ps/tidyconfig.txtjava.io.FileNotFoundException:
