Symptoms


Access the WebLogic Server console at http://<webserver>/console (e.g. http://localhost/console). When prompted for a Username and Password, specify the WebLogic system ID and Password you supplied during your WebLogic Server installation.

Another scenario-

Users not able to access the PIA application. It generates below error message instead of the signon screen- Error 404--Not Found

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI.

No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

The below error message is seen in pia_stderr.log file, which indicates that webserver domain has gotten corrupted or some files are missing in webserver domain directory, "tidyconfig.txt" file is not available under specified location.

<PS_HOME>/webserv/<DOMAIN-NAME>/applications/peoplesoft/PORTAL/ps/tidyconfig.txtjava.io.FileNotFoundException:

<PS_HOME>/webserv/<DOMAIN-NAME>/applications/peoplesoft/PORTAL/ps/tidyconfig.txt (No such file or directory)

The problem got resolved after reinstalling PIA domain.
