E-NV: nVision Reports With A High Timeout Value Do Not Timeout (Doc ID 639497.1)

Symptoms

Starting with PeopleTools 8.44, there is a new feature to set a timeout for each individual report request. Refer to E-NV: nVision Report Ends In No Success With Error "Process Exceeded Max Processing Time (15 Minutes)" (Doc ID 622973.1).

It was later reported that setting the timeout to a lower value like 15, 30 or 60 minutes worked fine, however when set to a high value such as 240 or 300 minutes, the report never timed out even once that time had passed.
